If you love blue waves you’re gonna love both the look and feel that the Waterslide Hosta brings to the garden with its rippled grey-blue leaves. Just the leaves alone are a standout in the garden…but as an extra bonus you and the hummingbirds and butterflies will also get to enjoy the pretty lavender flowers that rise above the foliage on sturdy stalks in summer. Exceptionally low maintenance and easy to grow, this Hosta is perfect for beginners and collectors alike!
Landscape & Garden Uses
The Waterslide Hosta is ideal for use as an accent in smaller garden spaces or a solo or mixed with other shade-loving plants in containers, or in groupings, or massed in larger shady garden beds and landscape borders. Perfect under large shade trees and any other shady location. Don’t think you have any shade? Look on the east side of your home. Waterslide Hosta is fine addition to hosta gardens, blue theme gardens, hummingbird gardens, and woodland shade gardens.

Growing Preferences
‘Waterslide’ Hosta Lily is easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and part shade to shade. Morning and evening sun is okay but we suggest avoiding direct afternoon sun. Give this enormous Hosta plenty of room to grow!
